MIT Skoltech Announced Awardees for the Third Round of NGP Grants

The MIT Skoltech collaboration has awarded 9 joint projects in the third round of Next Generation Program grants. The MIT Skoltech Next Generation Program (NGP) covers the whole range of academic and institution development activities. NGP seeks to establish and promote a mutually beneficial long-term bilateral collaboration in research, education and innovation between Skoltech faculty members and their MIT counterparts through the research-driven projects. MIT Skoltech Next Generation Program 3rd Call for Proposals

MIT and Skoltech announce the 3rd Call for Proposals for the Next Generation Program (NGP) consisting of joint research projects. This call is for PI-initiated projects in research, education, and/or innovation. New projects and extensions of previously supported projects are welcome. A team jointly led by a PI from Skoltech and a PI from MIT may submit a single, integrated proposal. For more information on applicable research areas and how to apply can be found here

MIT Skoltech Program Issues Call for Pilot Grant Proposals

The MIT Skoltech Program is pleased to announce a call for Pilot Grant proposals. Proposals will be accepted from MIT Principal Investigators from any school, department, laboratory, or center. These pilot grants continue on the path of the MIT Skoltech Seed Fund and are designed to seed and support idea generation for MIT faculty, on topics that are of mutual interest to both MIT and Skoltech and would promote collaboration between both parties. MIT-Skoltech Conference: “Collaborative Solutions for Next Generation Education, Science and Technology”

On October 15-16, 2018 Skoltech hosted the 3rd annual MIT-Skoltech Conference “Collaborative Solutions for Next Generation Education, Science and Technology”. Day 2, October 16, was dedicated to research and was held at the New Skoltech Campus. The focus was mainly on the current MIT-Skoltech collaboration: NGP projects, Seed Funds projects, and CREI partnership. Skoltech Biomedical Initiative was also in the scope of the conference to represent current Skoltech activities in the area.

MIT Skoltech Announced Winners for the Third Round of Seed Fund Proposals

The MIT Skoltech Seed Fund awarded in excess of $900,000 in third-year Seed Grant Funding to 13 projects for 1 year. The grants were awarded to researchers from 8 MIT departments, representing 3 schools and 2 program. The call for proposals was open to renewal applications to allow for the completion of research projects that were funded in the first round of the program as well as to new proposals. The call especially encouraged submissions that promote experimental or applied research at Skoltech or other Russian institutions.. The program awarded grants to support 8 new proposals and 5 projects continued from Year one. Read more about the projects
